Without the building, the work of the charity, supporting the most vulnerable members of our community, can not happen. By attending our events you are doing so much more than just "going to a show"!

What some friends have to say:

Brooke Tate:

"Performing at Henry Ward Hall was a highlight of my year.
As a musician and theatre maker, finding spaces that bring together beautiful sound with authentic character and history is so inspiring. It is a hidden gem with all the qualities of a crown jewel.

"Henry Ward Hall is a fantastic place to play. It’s a beautiful old church hall that sounds and looks just amazing. The depth and space of the sound way beyond most traditional music venues and really offers something special and unique for both performers and audience. The backdrop to the stage is a beautiful old 19th century church organ and their faculty for projections allow for a deeply immersive visual as well as sonic experience. The crew are great and it’s not often that an artist gets to work so creatively with a venue in creating a live experience. The Henry Ward Hall really deserves to be a prominent venue on the UK music map. Best . Jonny.

Mike Hatchard:

“I haven't been invited to play at the Henry Ward Hall that often but every time I have I've been struck by the integrity and professionalism of the place. It's truly a venue to die for and NEEDS to have music performed within its hallowed walls. Terribly impressed with the piano, too.”

“What a fabulous place. Henry Ward Hall works for all styles, all ages, all genres. It has style and great character: the hall looks gorgeous (and perfect for instagram bites) and is filled with technological goodness. I am sure it made me play better - I just felt respected, appreciated, loved... at home. The grand piano is a total winner, I'll come back just for that.”
